Lipsticks & Swatches!

I don't own very many lip products. I prefer to wear lip balm most of the time. The lipsticks I do own are from the drugstore, minus one department store brand. The only reason I have it is thanks to their lovely free gifts with certain purchases! I'm not really a lipstick kind of gal, but here are some swatches of the few I do own! Maybelline Colorsensational Born With it- My #1 one lippie!! This is a very wearable shade for anybody. It is a pretty pale pink with no shimmer. The texture is very creamy. As far as staying power goes, it isn't really long wearing. But the color is just so darling! There is a bit of a perfume scent, but it is hardly there. Doesn't bother me a bit! About 5 dollars at walmart.



L'Oreal Color Riche Honey Peach- I got this for $2 when it originally priced at $8!!! Gotta love walgreens. I don't think this shade really suits my fair skin. It is a true peachy pink shade. No shimmer, but a lovely scent. If you aren't crazy about fruity scents, this might be a bit of a turn off. But the creamy texture is Divine. Very shiny and perfect for summer! I think that it would look better on someone with a darker complexion.



Covergirl Continuous Color Golden Apricot- This is a nice warm shade, but doesn't suit my skintone well. The texture isn't quite as creamy as the Maybelline, but it is very nice. It has light shimmer and golden undertones. Very unnoticeable scent. This was 4 dollars at walmart.



Avon Ultra Color Rich Sparkling Warm Rose- This is a gorgeous warm pink shade! Unfortunately, mine melted. But I apply it with a lip brush and it looks good! This is a shimmery, creamy lippie. The scent is VERY strong and summery, but I enjoy scents. This was about 7 dollars from Avon.



Clinique Different Lipstick A Different Grape- I received this lipstick free from clinique. I really don't wear it....at all. But its a wonderful alternative to red! The texture is so smooth. There is a light perfume scent, very unnoticeable. This was free for me, but probably around 15 dollars at clinique.

Welcome To My Blog!

Hello all! I am very new to the blogging world and I'm hoping I do all of this right. I don't really plan on talking about myself and my life. I want to discuss beauty products that I feel need some recognition. I'll also do reviews, tutorials, and have plenty of lists for you.

I really cannot afford to purchase many cosmetics. Pretty much all that I will talk about are things I already own, things I could afford to purchase, and things I really want to buy.

I chose the name Autumn Beauty because Autumn purely is a beautiful time of year. It inspires most of my makeup looks and poems that I've written. Though Autumn is really the spark of death for the foilage and plants, the colors and aesthetics of it all is breathtaking. Most people crave summmer sunsets. I long for autumn sunrises and the windy sweater weather.
